I graduated from University of Oklahoma with a BFA in Film/Mixed Media and a minor in Art History. By studying the technical aspects of film at OCCC and the fine art perspective of film at OU, I have developed a broad understanding of all that film has to offer. This allowed me to tailor a degree that was specific to my future film goals. My capstone project “24 frames” showcases that duality of fine art and narrative cinema.
I began working professionally as a freelancer with early experience creating projects for clients such as Greenhouse Agency, Texas Revolution, Tango Tab and many more. I also worked with LackPro Records creating music videos and promos for bands such as Big Okie Doom, LessLove, Wondernaught, and The Harmed Brothers. My first feature project was a documentary working as a cam-op and editor that traveled from coast to coast capturing interviews. In 2017 I helped co-found Thought Culture LLC, a production company specializing in video projects ranging from commercials, social media, events, corporate, and training videos. Within my role at Thought Culture I acted as CFO & Production Manager. As well as shot, edited, and/or directed various projects. Clients include Toyota Music Factory, Social Revolt, Dallas Morning News, Greenhouse Agency and many more. After directing my second “48 Hour Film Project” it reignited my passion for narrative projects. In 2019 I decided to leave the more corporate/commercial industry to rejoin the narrative film environment and once again be on set creating film magic. Since taking the leap back into the narrative side I've now had the honor of working with many talented filmmakers. I’ve been part of many projects including the Hunting Jessica Series, Out of Exile, Stillwater, Wait!, Chicken House and many other feature films and tv shows. Within these projects I’ve performed various positions including Producer, Cinematographer, Camera Operator, Assistant Camera, and Assistant Director. These projects have given me the opportunity to work hard everyday and become the best cam-op possible by increasing my skill sets on a daily basis. I love telling stories through moving images, allowing me to create or assist in creating an experience that can only be expressed through film. Current passion projects include two short films, a feature script, and the development of a tv show concept.
